Saints take advantageof Rock-a-Nore defeat

LEADERS Rock-a-Nore suffered their first defeat of the season when they were beaten 4-2 at home to Wadhurst United in the Premier Division of the East Sussex Football League on Saturday.

Nathan Massini (2), Dean Tincombe and Nick Holland netted for the third-placed visitors, while Sean Baldwin and Shane Rancic replied.

Second-placed St Leonards Social beat Hooe Sports 4-2 thanks to Sean Noble, Paul Nessling, Sam Richardson and an own goal, while Naylem LeBeau and Cliff MacDonald scored for Hooe.

A Rob Levett hat-trick plus two goals from Ben Highams gave Peasmarsh & Iden a 5-2 win against JC Tackleway whose scorers were Steve Thomson and Mark Chandler.

Will Milam, Colin White and Leeroi McEvoy gave Catsfield a 3-2 win away to Wheatsheaf who replied through Ian Whitehorn and Rob Noble.
