In the Sussex County League division one, Hailsham Town beat Lancing 2-0, Newhaven lost 4-3 at Chichester, Ringmer beat Lingfield 2-1, Hassocks triumphed 4-1 at Rye and St Francis lost to league leaders East Preston 1-0.

In division two, Darren Tidey hit a hat-trick in a 3-2 win for Oakwood against Storrington, Broadbridge Heath hammered Seaford Town 6-0 and Haywards Heath Town won 1-0 at Wick.
