Seaford in search for new manager as Hutchinson stands down

Seaford Town are now in search of a new manager to lead them into the 2013/14 season, after Tobi Hutchinson confirmed he would not be able to continue.

Since taking over the side following Mick Richards’ resignation at the beginning of March, Hutchinson led Seaford to victory in the final of the Division 2 Cup, beating runaway League Champions Littlehampton Town 2-0 at Peacehaven and thus bringing the first silverware to the club since 1989.

They also finished the season with an eight-game unbeaten run which included five victories.

Chairman Bob Thomsett thanked Hutchinson for the “terrific job he did during his short tenure”, and “wished him well as he seeks to further enhance his excellent reputation in Youth coaching”.

Applications are therefore invited for the position of First Team Manager, further details of which can be obtained by calling Bob Thomsett on his mobile 07842 340913.

The club said: “We have the ground grading to enable the step up into Division One, and a hard working and fully supportive management committee who will offer every help and assistance to achieve success.

“Anyone wishing to apply should email the Chairman at giving details of previous experience, both in management and playing. Applications should be received by 19th June.”
