Sidley see off Westfield in final
The Sussex County Football League Division One outfit ran out 2-0 winners over Division Two neighbours Westfield at a breezy Parish Field this afternoon (Saturday) with both goals coming during the second half.
Kenny Pogue, who scored a hat-trick in Sidley’s 5-1 semi-final victory against Bexhill United on Tuesday evening, opened the scoring in the 52nd minute with a low first time shot after the Westfield defence allowed a long ball to bounce.

The first half had been a fairly even and scrappy affair littered with free kicks. Westfield came the closest to scoring when Tom Archer’s glancing header from a Lawrence Brand free kick struck the far post.
