Eastbourne Eagles’ second Elite League match of the season is tonight (Wednesday) against King’s Lynn at the Norfolk Arena.
Last year the Sussex side caused an upset as they rode their luck to sneak an unlikely victory.
The King’s Lynn track is wide and open – a full-out racing circuit – in contrast to the Eagles’ tighter and more technical circuit at Arlington.
But after a big opening night win the Eagles will fancy their chances in Norfolk – Joonas Kylmakorpi is double world long track champion and in Lukas Dryml and Denis Gizatullin they have riders used to the longer circuits on the continent.
Eastbourne will head north with high hopes of returning with at least a point; especially if Lewis Bridger can turn his home form into a similar story on away tracks.
