Ringmer were beaten by two stunning goals at Chichester on Saturday.
Out of nowhere in the 76th minute came a cracker of a goal to break the deadlock.
A long clearance from keeper Ender found Michael Frangou wide on the right and, rather than deliver a cross, he let rip into the corner of the net that left spectators gasping.
Ringmer instantly drew level when Jacob Shelton swung the ball into the goalmouth for the unmarked Seb Saunders to pop it over the line from close range.
But in the 85th minute a City throw-in was delivered into a packed penalty area and Graham Bush produced an overhead bicycle kick to hit a superb goal and give City a 2-1 triumph.
