SUSSEX COUNTY LEAGUE ROUND-UP: Crowborough deny leaders eighth straight win

Liam Baitup opened the scoring for the hosts, but Sam Carrington equalised in the second half to earn a draw. It was a day full of goals in the SCFL, with RYE UNITED edging a nine-goal thriller against St. Francis Rangers, 5-4, whilst NEWHAVEN beat Worthing United 8-0.
The top two in Division Two remain level on points after nothing could separate EASTBOURNE UNITED and LOXWOOD. Matt MacLean gave hosts United a half time lead, but Dean Wright’s effort just two minutes in to the second half earned a point for Dave Coccarachio’s side.
UCKFIELD TOWN moved up to sixth after starting the day second-bottom in Division Three after beating Roffey 1-0, who would have gone second should they have won.
