Liam Foster, Harvey Hanifan and Tyrell Richardson-Brown have become the latest players to put pen to paper ahead of the 2015/16 Ryman Football League Division One South season.

Richardson-Brown, 24, caught the eye with his non-stop running up-front and scored four important goals in 12 appearances as the U’s narrowly avoided relegation.

Foster, 18, played four times in an attacking midfield role, while Hanifan, 20, made 11 appearances at full-back and in central defence.

They join the likes of Josh Pelling, Sam Cole, Jack Walder, Ollie Rowe, Sam Adams, Sam Cruttwell, Jack Harris, Max Hollobone, Sam Crabb and Sean Ray, all of whom committed themselves last month.

United have held their first two pre-season training sessions over the past week and manager Garry Wilson has been pleased with what he’s seen so far.

He said: “It’s been really good. We had a fantastic session on Tuesday night. There was a good turnout, and I’m really pleased with the boys’ attitude and the effort they’ve put in. They’re looking reasonably fit and we’re working on that obviously.”

Four more sessions are planned before the opening friendly at home to Kingstonian on Saturday July 18.

Before then, the U’s are holding a trials game this coming Saturday to run the rule over possible new players and it’s understood that the match has attracted good interest.
