UCKFIELD TOWN were battered 8-1 away to Barnham in Division Three on Saturday.

Ash Harper bagged himself five goals, with the strikes coming in the fourth, seven, 39th, 51st and 64th minutes, while Sam Enticott (27 mins), Mark Pedrick (28 mins) and Richard Boxall (84 mins) rounded off the rout.

Town’s consolation goal came from Liam Pears on the half hour. Going into the last game of the season, at home to high-flying Saltdean United on Saturday, this result means Uckfield can now finish no higher or lower than ninth.
