The cup final will be his last game in charge of Wick and Tucker is hoping he can leave the club on a high.

He said: “This will be my last game with the club.

“If I could go out with my first cup final victory as manager and win it for the club, then that would be great.

“I have had a fantastic three years with this club.

“The chairman here has given me great backing and stuck by me in some testing times.

“So, this now gives me the chance to repay his faith and deliver a cup for this club.

“In my time here, I have learned so much and I thank the club for all the support they have given me.

“Wick & Barnham mean a lot to me and it would be a special day for me to deliver a trophy.”

Wick go into the game against Division 2 champions United with confidence.

The last time the sides met, Wick ran out 3-0 winners. Tucker believes that will help his side heading into the contest and said: “We know that last time we played them we beat them.

“The players know what they can do and I have every confidence in them.

“On our day, we can beat any team in either Division 1 or 2.

“We know that it is not going to be easy, though, they will be going in search of the double and are a quality outfit.

“Any team who wins a league title is strong and has great consistency.

“But, in cup football, anything can happen and we have confidence as a team that we are capable of beating them.”
