The U’s will begin their 2015/16 Ryman Football League Division One South campaign with a visit from Chipstead on Saturday August 8.

United travelled to the same opposition on the opening day of the 2013/14 season and picked up a 1-0 victory, Matt Maclean scoring the only goal.

The fixtures were released today (Thursday) and United’s first away match is against Sittingbourne on Tuesday August 12. They will then head to Chatham Town the following Saturday.

Somewhat unusually, Sittingbourne are one of several clubs United will play twice in the opening three months of the term. In fact, both of United’s games against Folkestone Invicta are in the first month.

United have home matches on Boxing Day and Easter Monday, against Walton Casuals and Peacehaven & Telscombe respectively. They will also be at The Pilot Field on the final day, against Herne Bay.
