The striker returned to The Pilot Field from Town in September and scored nine goals for the U’s, including a memorable hat-trick against Guernsey in October.

Pogue has found his opportunities limited lately, though, having only started three of United’s last nine Ryman Football League Division One South games.

The 27-year-old came on as a substitute in United’s most recent two matches, including last weekend’s narrow defeat at Folkestone Invicta.

Pogue scored for Town in their 5-1 victory away to St Francis Rangers in Macron Store Sussex County Football League Division One last night (Wednesday).

United manager Nigel Kane, meanwhile, has issued seven-day approaches for three players. One of them is ex-U’s midfielder Tom O’Connor (now at East Grinstead Town), and the other two are an un-named striker and a wide left player.
