It was a feat achieved with 29 victories – 17 arriving at fortress Fratton Park.

Since then the Blues have not collected more than 16 wins during a league campaign.

That high was reached in the 2007-08 campaign which yielded the club’s highest top-flight finish for more than half a century.

Redknapp’s team claimed eighth spot – in addition to an FA Cup final triumph over Cardiff City.

Those 16 wins came over a 38-match Premier League season, compared to 46 games outside the top flight.

Since then, Steve Cotterill’s side finished 16th in the 2010-11 campaign with 15 victories.

The Blues never rose higher than 11th during that Championship season following their top-flight relegation.

Now Paul Cook has nine remaining matches to bring themselves level with the 2007-08 tally – starting with the Good Friday visit of Notts County.

During the League One relegation season it was 10, while their tumble out of the Championship tallied 13 wins.

In the 2009-10 exit from the Premier League it was seven, while the previous campaign reaped 10 wins.
