Video - Blake says team can take heart despite final score of Bognor 2 Brighton 7

Robbie Blake was able to take some positives from Bognor's 7-2 Sussex Senior Cup last-eight defeat to Brighton.

The Rocks were 4-0 down and out of the cup after half an hour but battled well for the remainder of the game - despite having only 10 men after skipper Harvey Whyte was sent off early in the second half.

Bognor fielded two debutants in the starting line-up - Tom Dinsmore and Jerry Puemo - and another on the bench,Tresor Shema, as they boost their squad after injuries.

He declined to criticise Whyte - saying the captain always gave his all for the club but on this occasion had done so in the wrong way.
