Bexhill United manager Kenny McCreadie gives his verdict on the football club’s cup final defeat yesterday (Monday).
The Pirates lost 4-1 to Loxwood in the Sussex County Football League Division Two Challenge Cup decider at Hanbury Park, home of Haywards Heath Town FC, despite opening the scoring through Jamie Salvidge.
Bexhill conceded three times in the last 15 minutes of their first senior county final since they won the Sussex RUR Charity Cup (when playing under the name of Bexhill Town) way back in 1974.
