The Seagulls are yet to taste a league victory in 2019 and have collected just two points out of a possible 18.

That has seen them drop to just three points above the relegation zone and Ryan says the team will use their last league defeat to Burnley as motivation at Leicester.

He said: “There’s no big egos or anything in the team and we always stick together.

“We’re an honest group and we’re very self critical of ourselves. Walking into the changing room (after Burnley), we were laying down to each other that it’s not good enough and we need to be better.

“We’re hurting (from the Burnley defeat), so we’ll use it as motivation in order for the next one.

“We’ll come out all guns blazing and do what we need to do in order to get ourselves out of this little rut.”

The sides drew 1-1 at the Amex earlier this season. Glenn Murray gave Albion the lead, before Leicester had James Maddison sent off for two bookings. Jamie Vardy’s late penalty earned the ten-man Foxes a point.
