West Sussex Football League cancelled after less than half the teams said they did not want season to continue into June


The league canvassed all clubs to get their views but it has been decided to hold a round robin tournament for those clubs interested.

Hide AdLeague secretary Chris Bridges said: "After canvassing all 64 Clubs within the WSFL only 48% were positive about finishing the season into June.
"The Committee have therefore taken the decision to cancel the 2020/2021 season with immediate effect.
"In its place we intend to organise a round robin tournament for those clubs who want to participate playing games between mid April and Mid May following the Covid protocols in place at that time.
"It is our intension to start the 2021/2022 Season as normal in August."
