Mike Booth led the rout with a hat-trick as Westfield made it 12 goals in two games this season against Sussex County Football League Division Two’s bottom club.

Westfield took less than four minutes to open their account as Zach Ferris turned in Sam Willett’s cross. The hosts were two-up inside 10 minutes, Matt Dadswell getting the final touch after a fine run and cross by Booth.

Ferris missed a sitter after Booth’s shot was parried, but Westfield added a third goal before the break when Booth lifted his finish nicely over the Seaford goalkeeper following Ross Markham’s throughball.

Westfield could even afford the luxury of missing a penalty early in the second period as Jethro Warren - who netted two spot-kicks against Storrington the previous weekend - rattled the crossbar after a foul on Booth.

That man Booth scored a superb solo goal to make it 4-0 and Westfield weren’t finished there. Willett bagged number five shortly afterwards with a 20-yard drive into the bottom corner.

Curtis Coombes weighed in with Westfield’s sixth goal 10 minutes from the end, and there was still time for Booth to complete his treble before the final whistle put an end to Seaford’s misery.
