Goals from Ade Olorunda (2), Charlie Farmer, an own goal and Taser Hassan gave United a comprehensive victory over the Ryman Football League Division One South leaders.

“We have threatened it,” said United boss Di Paola. “The last two games against (Corinthian) Casuals and Whyteleafe could’ve been those sort of games if things had panned out differently.

“The two or three things we’ve been trying to get into our game came together really. Our passing was good and the end product was good.

“Scoring early isn’t something we’ve done and that settled us down. We showed we can be a good side if we can get that nervousness out of our play.

“When you lose everyone thinks you’re the worst team in the world and when you win people think you’re going to win the league. You’ve got to get a bit of a balance in your mind that we’re halfway between the two.”
