Bexhill United and Westfield won again in Sussex County Football League Division Two on Saturday.

An 85th minute goal from Nathan Tudor and Steve Morris’s 11th of the campaign two minutes later gave Bexhill a 2-0 victory at home to Mile Oak which moved them into the top three.

After Gordon Cuddington rattled the crossbar from distance early on, Warren gave Westfield a half time lead with a cracking right-foot volley from a corner in the 29th minute.

Heath drew level in controversial fashion with a goal that Westfield felt was offside, but the hosts responded well and Warren won it with a 25-yard strike which arrowed into the corner.

Little Common suffered their first league defeat on a Saturday this season as a depleted side went down 2-1 at Southwick. James Vaughan pulled one back after Common had gone two-down.

Full reports on all three matches will appear in Friday’s Observers.
