Two goals from Dajon Golding were the key for Adam Hinshelwood's Rebels in a 3-1 win that kept them third in the league among clubs with a 100 per cent record after three games.

An own goal forced by Reece Meekums had restored Worthing's lead at 2-1 early in the second half on a night when Lewes suffered serious keeper trouble.

Their No1 Nathan Stroomberg-Clarke was sent off for a handball outside the box that one home official described as 'dubious' after just 15 minutes. He was replaced between the sticks by outfield player Gary Noel - but he then had to be replaced for the second half by Nic D'Arienzo apparently after picking up an injury.

The ten men of Lewes had pulled the score back to 1-1 through new signing Jude Arthurs late in the first half. This defeat leaves Hugo Langton's team 21st and still looking for their first point.

At The Camping World Community Stadium it was a tight and entertaining game between the Hornets and the Rocks but - just as happened in March in what proved their final game before lockdown - Bognor won it.

Ashton Leigh got the winner when he burst through for a fine finish eight minutes into the second half - although the Rocks were grateful to keeper Amadou Tangara for some excellent late saves to preserve the three points.

The result sends Bognor up to 10th place and Horsham down to 18th.
