Young Eastbourne footballers have a new Identity

A leading events agency, Identity, has become the first kit sponsor for Old Town Boys and Girls FC.

Identity, which has its HQ in the town, is one of UK’s most successful events agencies and is a keen support of the community.

Michael Gietzen of Identity, said: “I’m sure that playing football is one of the things a lot of children are missing during lockdown.

“Nevertheless, one of the club’s mottos is ‘we only do positive’ and this is the same ethos we have at Identity.

“I’m sure that the kids will be all back playing football again soon and I’m delighted Identity has been able to contribute in some way to the club’s future.”

Coach and former player James Hopkins said: “We’re very grateful for Identity’s support.

“Our young players are full of enthusiasm and we are all looking forward to getting back on the pitch.
