Sparrows 0-0, and beating Hawks Youth 3-0, Molesey 4-0 and Mile Oak 1-0.

Match four saw Wasps drawn against a big Mile Oak side but for all their physical size were unable to deal with their superior technical ability as Wasps managed to score the only goal of the game through Macy Watts.

That meant that Wasps finished joint-top with Horsham Under-13s on the same goal difference and having drawn 0-0 in their game so the final had to be played between the two.

As in their first match Horsham were strong and the game turned into a hard fought battle with neither side giving anything away and as the game neared an end and a penalty shoot out looked certain wasps broke one last time and as they tried to play through a crowded Horsham area the ball was fed left of the box and up popped Abby Allen to smash the ball into the top corner followed by the final whistle.

As Wasps stepped up to collect their winners’ trophies they had one last surprise for all the teams in their group.

The fact that they were the only U12s team playing in the U13s group was met by a huge round of applause and a realisation of just how good this team is.
