IF you stop to admire an elegant pair of Andalusian horses drawing a wedding carriage, or watch glossy black stallions pulling a funeral carriage in stately style, the chances are that they belong to the Madgwick family in neighbouring Hampshire.
The family are true carriage masters and for three generations the family has been dedicated to horses in many different spheres.
Kevin Madgwick (50), his wife Sam are involved in the business of producing their carriage horses to perfection, not only for weddings and funerals, but for all manner of other occasions, across Hampshire and West Sussex and even further afield.
Explained Kevin: " My grandfather was a carriage master in Portsmouth, and he and my father, Sidney, both worked with horses and I have been involved since I was 15.
