The attacking pair join defenders Mark Knee, Charlie Farmer, Ash Jones and Alex Duncan, who were the first players to commit to the club yesterday.

The Hornets have fought off plenty of competition for both attacking players who were an integral part of last year’s promotion-and-title-winning season.

Former Bognor Regis forward Dodd netted scored 37 goals last season - breaking a club record dating back to 1962 of 30 league notches held by the late Mick Browning - his famous beer-drinking clip, mid-game, also saw him go viral online.

Boswell, who capped a superb hat-trick of Southern Combination League titles with Horsham last season, netted 18 goals in 35 league appearances last season.

Horsham manager Dominic Di Paola, speaking to the club’s website, said: “I’m delighted Terry’s staying, it’s no surprise he’s become a Horsham legend and the supporters took to him.

“I know he had a couple of disappointing years before joining us but he really seemed to have got his love for the game back last season and I know if he gets himself right we have a striker of real pedigree in this league.

“He’s another popular lad in the dressing room and I’m sure he can have an even better season than last year with us.”

“I’m delighted Bozzy is going to have a proper crack at the next level up. He’s been such a strong player in the County League and just needs to believe in himself a bit more.

“If he was a bit more confident I have no doubts he would have made the jump a lot sooner. I know he had a lot of clubs after him this summer so it’s a massive boost that he’s opted to stay at Horsham.

“He’s another popular member of the squad and I’m sure everyone will be pleased he’s back.”
