Real Madrid are resigned to losing Karim Benzema to Arsenal this summer, and have already began targetting replacements for the French striker. According to The Metro, Arsenal will break their transfer record to sign the player for a fee in the region of £50 million. (The Telegraph)

Connor Wickham has joined Crystal Palace on a five-year deal. The 22-year-old has left Sunderland for an initial fee of £7 million. (The Times)
