Gary's driving ahead as many face cutbacks

GARY Docking is riding high in the world of carriage driving, where the recession has failed to impinge on a bright future for himself and 11 very good horses at his Heyshott base.

Next season looks firmly gilt-edged for this master of his profession, who is renowned for his dedicated professionalism and achievements both as a competitor and trainer.

At a time where many are downsizing and cutting back, Gary has increased his team from nine of last season to 11 for 2009.

Not only that but he also has the prestigious backing of Baileys Horse Feeds, which is sponsoring him for next season, providing all horse feed, rugs, clothing and incidentals, as well as getting to know his horses individually and advising on feed programmes to suit their needs.

Gary said: "Many people are downsizing or keeping and capitalising on the horses they have got, and I am delighted to have two new show horses to lead into next season."
