Bell claims Cottesmore Golf Club eclectic
Mick Bell narrowly won the George Higgins Rose Bowl as the Cottesmore Golf Club Vets’ Winter Eclectic reached a conclusion.
After eight rounds of competition, Bell had recorded the best aggregate, handicap adjusted, of the lowest scores at each hole. Graham Sinclair and Chris Adamson completed the top three, while Bernard Smith claimed the trophy for the best score on the front nine with Richard Scott as runner-up.
Bell had won both trophies in 2012, but was prevented from doing so this year by a rule change.
