Cuckfield Gents play final team competition
The Cuckfield Gents played in their final team competition of the 9 hole league season Saturday, the Salver comp, played at Hever.
It was a brilliant day, great weather, good company and fab food. And to round it all off perfectly, Cuckfield won the Salver!! It’s the first time they’ve won this event, and is testament to the team spirit all this year. They beat the 2nd placed team, Peacehaven, by 8 points, finishing on 153 points. Andy Holden, Men’s Captain added, “the whole group played really well, and I want to thank everyone who has played for the team over the year. We’ve had several close matches, and it all came good this afternoon. So many thanks for your support over the year.”
