The Staplecross-based talent is in the field for the Hero Indian Open at Delhi GC from February 19-22 and the Joburg Open at Royal Johannesburg & Kensington GC from February 26-March 1.

Evans expects to feature in around 20 of the lower profile events on the 2015 European Tour schedule after finishing 17th on the second tier European Challenge Tour Rankings last season.

The 28-year-old has already made a couple of European Tour appearances in South Africa during December and January, but failed to make the cut in either so he will be keen to seize his chance this time around.

Evans, of Rye and Sedlescombe Golf Clubs, jetted out to Dubai yesterday (Tuesday) for some warm weather practice ahead of the upcoming tournaments.
