Extremely hot day for Lindfield Golf Club Ladies’ Captain’s Invitation Day

Lindfield Golf Club’s Ladies’ Captain, Karen Spicer had extremley hot sunny weather for her Invitation Day on the 22nd July. A very welcome Halfway House ably run by Audrey Blackburn and Diana Bickham was a most welcome sight and enjoyed by all.

The format for the day was 4 Ball Better Ball and produced some great close scores which were announced by Karen after a delicious Buffet lunch in the cool of the Clubhouse. Karen thanked all her willing helpers on the day for making the day so successful.

Rs/up : Jane Brann and Christina Barratt (Haywards Heath) 42 pts

Best Front 9:Sandra Wioles and Helen Gallacher (Piltdown) 20 pts

Best Back 9: Sue Swain and Brenda Clift ( Crowborough) 25 pts.
