Mid Sussex Billiards and Snooker League hold Golf Day

The inaugural Mid Sussex Billiards and Snooker League Golf Day was played at the Haywards Heath Golf Club with Calum Thomsett producing top form to become the first ever Champion with Denis O’Rourke a close runner up.

There were ten players competing in the 18 Hole Stableford competition which included Ray Pratt, Chris Carter, John Clayton, Richard Hazelden, Barry Martin, Steve Jeavons, Chris Morgan and Jon Phipps. The ‘ Nearest Pins’ prize was shared by Jon Phipps and Denis O’Rourke with Richard Hazelden winning the ‘Players Lottery’, this was a signed Norwich City Football Shirt.

The Golf Champion Trophy was kindly donated by President Martin Stoner and the players thanked Barry Martin for organising the competition and they much appreciated the support given by the Haywards Heath Golf Club to ensure everyone had a most enjoyable day.
