Mixed Evening Foursomes held on nest day of Easter weekend
On probably the best day of the Easter Weekend, Haywards Heath Golf Club played the first of their regular monthly Summer events, run by the Entertainment Committee, the Mixed Evening Foursomes.
It was a relatively small field, probably because of the Easter Weekend, but nonetheless everyone enjoyed a lovely game of golf followed by the prize presentation with a lovely meal in the evening.
The winners of the event were the Ladies’ Captain, Rosemary Parvin and her husband Donald with 36pts. It was obviously to be a day for Captain’s, as in second place were Gösta Kullner, the Senior’s Captain, and Anne Chase with 35pts on countback from, in 3rd place, Kath and Gerry Honeysett, also with 35pts. Kath is this year’s Ladies’ Vice Captain.
