Patterson leads Horsham Golf & Fitness field to medal triumph

Scoring was good as Peter Patterson led the field of 35 golfers to win the Horsham Golf & Fitness February Medal competition last week.

On a cloudy and blustery day, Patterson made a welcome return to the top of the leaderboard, carding a gross 78, nett 59,to take him clear of the chasing pack.

Aaron Fuller was second with the lowest gross score of 71, nett 61 from Sandra Neal third and Terry Robinson fourth, all coming in with a nett 61.

Seven birdie twos were recorded. One apiece from Philip Hedges, Duncan McSorland, Peter Patterson, Steve Mears, Terry Robinson, Ian Davenport and Martin Leake.

Aaron Fuller now leads the Winter Eclectic, with Terry Robinson second and Rhodri Marsden third.
