Division two was obviously won by Roger Powell with 52 points with Martin Gilbert second with 39 points.

The third round of the Captain’s Prize was played in overcast conditions – the air was damp but there was no rain of any significance.

The course was playing well, and the greens were receptive, true and surprisingly fast at times, however the scores recorded were more modest than of late.
