MIDHURST racing enthusiast Lionel Beecroft was shocked by the crzy criteria used by some of his friends for selecting horses at the races.
They put their hard-earned cash on a jockey's colours, the horse's number, its name or relied on tips from doubtful uninformed sources.
Now he has published a book that will help enthusiasts or nove racegoers unravel the complexities of the sport as well as understand better the way's in which a horse's ability can be assessed.
Unravelling Racing- A Guide has a glossy cover, is well-illustrated and is a fascinating read.
