Handy Sussex trophy draw for Worthing RFC

HOLDERS and top seeds Worthing Rugby Club have been drawn at home in the Sussex Trophy quarter-finals. They will play Brighton.

In the other ties on February 10 or 11, Lewes or Crawley will be at home to Hove, Eastbourne host Chichester, and East Grinstead or Horsham will receive Haywards Heath.

Haywards Heath will have their RFU Intermediate Cup fifth round tie away to Dunstabilians on the Saturday.

The knock-on effect of the Trophy last eight at the weekend may well be to deprive Sussex Under-20s of some leading players for their County Championship trip to play Middlesex at Old Millhillians on the Sunday.
