HANKS FIRES LITTLEHAMPTON
CHRIS Hanks produced an outstanding all-round performance to help Littlehampton to their first Sussex League Division Two win of the season on Saturday.
Six wickets with his left arm spin followed by a typically hard-hit 44 left Preston Nomads picking up the pieces having reduced Littlehampton again captained by Dan Rive in the abscence of Stuart Stoneham to 94-7.
Coming in at that point, Hanks flayed the Nomads bowling around the Sportsfield. Three sixes and two fours flew from his bat in an eighth-wicket stand of 64 with the more sedate Matt Staight, who finished unbeaten on 52 with seven boundaries.
