Having fun horsing around during summer
CHILDREN from around West Sussex have been enjoying all things horsey during summer camps run at the equestrian centre at Lavant House Stables near Chichester.
The ever-popular camps have been running across July and August and welcomed all ages and abilities, with each matched to a suitable pony companion.
The three-day 'Teenies Camp' for under sevens was a great success, with dressing up competitions, fun activities around the stables, mini events to build confidence in being around ponies and lessons to teach new skills.
For older children the 'Summer Camps' have brought groups of seven-13 year olds together at the stables for five days. The final camp is currently under way.
