The rugby club will take on Old Dunstonians eager to atone for last weekend’s disappointing 37-7 loss away to previously winless Gillingham Anchorians.

H&B head coach Kevin Smith said: “All the players said that we’ve got to put this right. Every team is allowed to have a bad game, even the top teams. We’ve had ours and let’s hope we can go on from there.

“We’ve got to put this game behind us and crack on, but remember how it feels as we don’t want to see anything like this again.

“I think the players understand now that you can play well and lose, and the beer doesn’t taste so bad. But if you play poorly and you know it, you can’t even face your drink.”

An H&B side which has won one, drawn one and lost four of its six London Three South East games so far will next face a fourth-placed Dunstonians outfit which has won four and lost two of its six. Kick-off at ARK William Parker Academy is 2.30pm.

“We’ve lost at home, but we’ve not had a bad game,” added Smith. “We had a good (training) session on Tuesday night, we’re working hard and we will get it right.”

Elsewhere tomorrow, Rye RFC will travel to Burgess Hill in a meeting of the sides second-from-top and second-from-bottom in Sussex One.
