Heath take the spoils in top of the table clash
The first real test of the season was met with a show of strength by Heath who decisively beat their fellow table toppers Midhurst by a score of 42- 3.
Once again Heath travelled with a large band of supporters to test themselves against a Midhurst side who themselves had not tasted defeat this season and were looking to continue their own good form having won against another previously unbeaten side Ditchling the week before. It was clear straight from the kick off that Heath were in the mood to play some stylish rugby and so it proved over the eighty minutes. Midhurst’s defensive effort was resolute throughout but they had no answers to Heath’s firepower up front which allowed the visiting three-quarters to run in a number of impressive tries.
