Running out convincing winners of their 5 team pool, Heath faced the hosts Worthing in the semi final who were runners up in the other group. The game was put to bed quickly when Heath’s clever play and outright pace led to three tries being scored in the opening 5 minutes. Heath went on to close out the game with another 5 tries to nil to earn themselves a final against a physical Brighton side.

In the final, Heath were slow to find their game and were trailing 10-0 after two minutes having hardly had a touch of the ball. However the experience and big game fight in Heath came to the fore and they quickly asserted themselves to take the lead . Brighton managed two further scores but Heath were streetwise in avoiding their opponents attempts to mix it and their speed on the break when turning defence into attack meant a 43-22 victory at the final whistle.
