The 30th running of the Hastings Lions Club-organised event will take place on Sunday March 23 and race director Eric Hardwick has a number of aims for the landmark occasion.

Hardwick would like all previous winners and anybody who took part in the very first half marathon in 1985 to run again, to reach £5million in money raised for good causes, to produce an even bigger ‘Hastings Brass’ for finishers with a special design, to feature those who have done all 30 half marathons, to give good value for money to all entrants and provide more entertainment along route than ever before.
