The acrobats were also in fine form. For most of the partnerships it was only their second competition of the season and they gave a fantastic account of themselves.
The grade two pairs were strong with a gold for the men’s pair of Liam Webb and Blake Baxendale, and an impressive silver in a very large group for women’s pair Malek Jbali and Elsie Crowther.
The medals continued in grade two with the women’s groups as the new trio of Bethany Heys, Hannah Dine and Lucy Legg produced a gold-winning routine.
Leon Ercegovic and Kelsey Durling scooped Hollington's only medal at grade three, a silver, for their mixed pair routine.
It was a 2-3 finish in the grade four women’s groups, with Emilie King, Violet Cuming and Sienna Spice pipping Emily Kennedy, Tia West and Kyla West to silver. Both trios produced some excellent routines.
The day was finished off with more success from the host club’s high level gymnasts, who had to perform two routines.
Erin Wiltshire, Tymika Corbett and Ashlyn Cotman came first in the grade five women’s groups, as did Lydia Ercegovic and Summer Spice in the grade six women’s pairs, and Jocelyn Campbell-Marshall, Charlotte Wynne Pennels and Amy Robertson in the 11-16 women's groups.
A club spokesman said: "A great day of results and the coaches are hugely proud of all their achievements."
