Aaron Davis clinched the under-105 kilos title at Hawkinge in Kent on Sunday after getting the better of nine other participants.

The competition was split into six events, and Davis came first in the shield carry and the dumbbell, and joint first in the concluding keg toss. He was also second in the farmers event, fifth in the pressing medley and seventh in the deadlift medley.

As always, Davis, who is sponsored by Zeus Gym, was cheered on by a massive crowd of family and friends, all of whom are massively proud of what he achieved.

He has now qualified to compete at the World’s Strongest Man competition for under-105 kilos athletes in Northern Ireland at the end of the month, along with his training partner and friend Kiarash Majidi.

This is only their second year of serious competition and the upcoming event in Belfast will be their biggest competition yet.

Majidi and Davis finished first and third respectively at the England’s Strongest Man competition for under-105 kilos athletes in Rugby during May. The pair train together at Zeus Gym and work together, and have been friends for more than 20 years.
