Horsham FC spoil the Guernsey party

Byron Napper’s first Horsham goal secured a fine 1-0 win away at Guernsey last night (Wednesday) as Simon Colbran’s side made it two wins from two league games.

Following their opening-day victory over Eastbourne Town, the Hornets flew out to play in the Channel Islanders’ first ever game in the Ryman League at their home ground.

And a goal from the former Crawley and Crawley Down midfielder Napper in the second half saw them spoil the hosts’ party and continue their winning start to the new campaign.
