Horsham Snooker round-up: Horsham Club Wanderers wrap-up title

A 5-0 defeat of Sporting Roffey ensures they cannot be caught, so now it comes down to a battle for second between Horsham Club B, who whitewashed Pulborough D, and Oakwood Hill B, who sit a point further back after their 3-2 defeat of Roffey E, for hom Ben Davidson (30) and Richard Tomsett (24) made notable breaks. Mark Bristo’s 34 break and 26 from Dave Brooks were the highlights of Warnham E’s 3-2 win against Loxwood Sports. Elsewhere Roffey GB beat Pulborough B 3-2, while Roffey E and C favourites for the drop.

In Division 2, Warnham A and Roffey D meet this week in what could be a title decider, while Warnham B made up ground with a 3-2 win against YMCA A, while fourth placed Barns Green A beat Rudgwick B 4-1 and Horsham Club C beat Warnham Rangers 3-2.

And at the top of Division 3, Rusper Village beat Lowfield Heath, who could go top with a win from their game in hand, 3-2, and second placed Horsham Club D beat Rudgwick E 3-2 as the title race heats up.

Meanwhile, Steve White’s break of 20 helped lowly Roffey H defeat Oakwood Hill D 2-3 while Oakwood Hill C won 2-3 at Horsham Club E.
