Horsham Snooker update: Wanderers extend unbeaten run

The Wanderers saw off Warnham E, for whom Mark Bristo made a 22, 3-2 as they extended their advantage. Oakwood Hil B moved into second place despite losing 2-3 to Sporting Roffey and bottom club Roffey C caused a real shock by beating Roffey GB 4-1. In a mid-table match, Loxwood Sports A went down 2-3 at home to Pulborough D.

Division 2 table-toppers Warnham A beat Warnham Ranger 4-1, while second placed Roffey D were boosted by Richard Goodchild’s break of 30 in their 5-0 whitewash of YMCA A, for whom Cassian Barker made a 20 break, to set up a exciting climax between the top two.

The title race is gainin momentum in Division 3 too, with Horsham Club D’s 4-1 defeat of Rusper Village A, in which Jason Day scored a 23 break. Lowfield Heath stay third with a 3-2 win against Roffey H. Fourth placed Roffey F beat Horsham Club E 3-2 for whom Neil Peakman made a 24 and bottom side Barns Green B went down 2-3 at home to Pulborough F.
