The SBL squad trains at the Dolphin Leusure Centre on Monday nights and is a good blend of experienced players and juniors.

On Saturday, playing in Division 4, HHTT League sponsored by Heritage Oil was represented by Marc Burman, Andrew Sharland, Tom Pomez and Ben Worley. They got off to a flying start by beating Horsham Blades 8-2 with Burman and Worley winning two apiece and their doubles match together with Sharland and Pomez contributing a singles each and also their doubles match. Worley was named Player of the Match for his 3-0 win over the experienced Erik Van-Mol.

Waterside from Hampshire were the next opponents.

Although, the result was a little harsh as they were too strong for Haywards Heath winning 10-0. Waterside are strong favourites to win the division, as they were unbeaten over the weekend.

On Sunday, Emma Torkington and Bertrand Siu came in for Sharland and Worley. A hard fought 7-3 win over Greenhouse II in the morning was followed with a 10-0 win over Fusion IV both big clubs in London. Burman with a key 5 set win against Tony Wilkinson was awarded the Player of the Match against Greenhouse and the returning Emma Torkington took the award in the match against Fusion.

This weekend was a real team performance with everyone contributing at important times to achieve the results.

The team are tied for second place in the table on points with Urban TTC, but lie third on games ratio. Haywards Heath play Urban on Oct 31st and Foresters II.
