Inter-schools one day event a scorcher for Farlington
ON a scorching hot Saturday at the end of June, Farlington School was represented by three teams of girls competing at an inter-schools one day event competition at St Leonard's Mayfield School, Mayfield in East Sussex.
The mini eventing team swept the board with Grace Durkan, Melissa Joannides and Stephanie Joannides winning as a team. The girls were also individually placed, Grace Durkan took second, Melissa Joannides was third and Stephanie Joannides won best dressage in her section.
In the bigger novice section Katie Calvert, Francesca Wood and Genevieve Clarke made up a team of three and did exceptionally well, winning the event. Katie Calvert and Genevieve Clarke both won their sections and Francesca Wood came fourth.
